Artist-in-Residence Program

The Artist-In-Residence program at Cub Creek Foundation provides emerging and established artists with the time, space, and facilities to pursue individual development. Many residents take the opportunity to develop and strengthen new bodies of work, experiment with atmospheric firing, and explore local clay resources found on the property.

While in residence, each artist is provided a dedicated workspace within a shared studio building as well as a private bedroom within the six bedroom resident house. Residents are expected to be self motivated, respectful of others and their belongings, and capable of setting their own schedule. Additionally residents are expected to participate in group work tasks such as studio cleaning, organizing, and preparing for firings and events.
