General Supplies:

Cub Creek residents typically order supplies in bulk several times a year. Due to this method and history of purchasing, residents can purchase supplies at a fraction of the cost paid through retail or standard wholesale methods. We order supplies through several vendors and they are typically delivered in 7 to 14 business days.

Incoming residents are encouraged to prepare a detailed list of their supply needs before applying. It is also helpful to discuss these needs with the director prior to arrival.

Native Clay:

Cub Creek is conveniently located atop naturally rich clay deposits. Digging just beneath the topsoil layer reveals the native clay, which has a high percentage of kayonite. This mineral makes these clays highly refractory. Blending these clays can produce a quality high firing clay body. Many of the residents here find time to experiment with these local clays and make use of the exposed bed dug our by previous artists.
